I just love going to the gym to workout. Part of it is how training makes me feel, part of it is how training makes me look and part of it is how training helps me think. I am frequently so focused on my business and projects that I can easily get lost in my thoughts and in the day to day challenges that come with business and life. Going to the gym and working out is like going to church in a way. My workouts can be analogized as a religious experience in what they do for me. The gym is a place that I go to each day to improve my fitness, to maintain my health and to clear my mind and collect my thoughts. In the right gym you are surrounded by people who are all there feeding off of each others positive energy.
Each year at the Arnold’s Sports and Fitness Expo, I get to visit with fans that I proudly call my friends after so many years at this event. I love it when Ethan comes to visit because I always take my seat for our annual photo together. Next year I think I’ll get him to rub my feet
After Saturday nights finals I made my way to the annual “Party with the Pro’s”, where I met up with two very handsome blokes from down under. What possessed them to challenge me in a gun fight, I’ll never know:)

The 2010 Arnold’s Fitness Festival has officially come to a close and what a wonderful weekend it was. Promoter extraordinaire Jim Lorimar and his fine army of staffers and volunteers made sure everything was perfect. They even managed to workout at deal with mother nature. The weather was as warm and inviting as the people of the city of Columbus. Congratulations to the incredible Iris Kyle, Yaxeni, Debi, Lisa, Betty and Dayanna for their top 6 placings. I’m working on my travel plans for this years Arnold’s Fitness Weekend in Columbus, Ohio during the first weekend in March. It’s getting close and I’m getting excited…and you know what that means . Every year promoters Arnold and Jim make this event bigger and better. I don’t know how they manage to do it year after year but I’m glad they do.
